Brian Friedman is a real estate owner, operator, and investor with over a decade of experience acquiring, repositioning, and stewarding hospitality and commercial real estate assets. He is the Founder of Friedman Capital, a Washington DC-based family investment firm established in 2010, which serves as the principal investment platform behind Anasazi Group's long-term ownership approach.
Brian is also a Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Foxhall Partners, a commercial real estate firm specializing in opportunistic, value-added, and core-plus equity and participating debt investments in the Washington DC region.
Previously, Brian served as Vice President and Chief Investment Officer at First Management Group, overseeing development and asset management for a national portfolio of 36 properties across 32 states, representing more than $2.2 billion in real estate value.
Brian is an Adjunct Lecturer in Real Estate at Georgetown University, teaching graduate-level courses focused on applied real estate investing and asset management. He holds a B.S., M.A., and M.B.A. from the Kogod School of Business at American University and is a member of PREA, ULI, and ICSC.
